Mission Statement: In the Carpenter's Footsteps
Provides services for churches and communities who need construction projects built or repaired. Opportunities are offered for people of all ages to share their faith, offer their services, perform manual labor and create friendships of many people in a global setting.
Organizational History
Throughout the past three decades, more than 500 volunteers, with little or no experience, constructed church buildings, schools, daycare and youth centers, a sewing center, playgrounds and even dug a well and established a water system for a village that had no running water.
Volunteers from many different professions and cultural backgrounds who represent several denominations were the genesis for a Christian service organization known as In The Carpenter's Footsteps, Inc. approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (C)(3) organization.
Through the years, these volunteers worked side by side with church members in villages where the projects were done, sharing fellowship, worship and communicating the reality of God's love for all people.
